It is a perennial that generally forms compact groups. It is one of the smallest species of Aeonium, however it can produce multiple offshoots. Its rosettes can measure up to 10 cm in diameter. Its leaves are yellowish green and creamy white, and usually have pink margins when it is in full sun. Its flowers are white and can be seen in spring or summer.

Full or partial shade. Resists light frosts. Optimal temperature range between 10 and 25 degrees centigrade.
