Details about growing and caring for Xerosicyos danguyi
Recommended light & temperature:
It requires a lot of light to grow. Expose to the sun in the morning and late afternoon. The optimal temperature range is between 15 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Watering and care:
Water when the soil is completely dry. It is very susceptible to rotting due to excess humidity. In winter seasons it should only be watered when the leaves become wrinkled.
Multiplication:
From cuttings 10 cm or more long or from seeds. Caudex formation will only be observed by growing from seed.
Pests:
It is not frequently attacked by pests but sometimes scaly insects appear. Its main enemy is excess water in the substrate.
Best types of soil:
It grows well in substrates for succulents and cacti, with the incorporation of a layer of gravel. It prefers very permeable soils. It does not support prolonged stagnation of water because it rots easily.
