Haageocereus is an unusual and not very common cactus genus which can be hard to identify until flowering. It is native to Peru and parts of northern Chile and is not normally found outside of these specific areas. Due to it's scarcity the genus is still being understood.
Haageocereus are columnar with a stems growing up to 2m high and roughly 7cm wide. The flowers are white with a green tinge.
