Peperomia is a type of foliage plant related to pepper mainly growing in Central and South America. They tend to be perennial and grown for their foliage, normally having fleshy leaves and hard stems. They are normally quite small, growing up to 50cm.
Keep Peperomia away from direct sunlight but in a bright location. Water once the soil at the top has dried out and keep in a well drained container.
There are more than 1000 species of Peperomia. Popular species of Peperomia are Peperomia Congesta and Peperomia ferreyrae.
You can identify your Peperomia using the list of Peperomia species below or try searching our Cactus Database.
